Engaged over the Holidays 2015

Dec 31st

The holiday season is one of the most popular seasons for couples to become engaged. The Knot reports that December is the most popular month to get engaged. In 2014, 16% of all engagements occurred in December, a time when a lot of friends and family come together to celebrate.

For many newly engaged brides, the first item on the wedding planning agenda is finding the dream gown. There are many things to consider when choosing your dream gown including budget, silhouette and style. Couture gowns are a wonderful option for brides looking for flattering silhouettes, hand-made craftsmanship, beautiful finishing and one-of-a-kind looks.

What is your wedding day style?

The first step in choosing your dream dress is determining your wedding day style. Traditional, romantic or sexy—every bride has an idea of how she wants to look on her wedding day. Below we take a look at a few wedding dress style options. Are you newly engaged? Contact Janice Martin to schedule a consultation for your dream wedding gown.

The “Big Entrance” Ball Gowns

Perfect for brides who want to make a grand entrance, ball gowns are a classic wedding day look for brides of every shape and style. Janice Martin Couture gowns are designed using the most luxurious fabrics from around the world—including fabrics from the same company that created the lace textiles used to create Princess Kate Middleton’s wedding gown.

Fitted & Sexy Couture Gowns

Sexy can look different to every bride. Fitted, hip-hugging silhouettes highlight a bride’s curves and can make for a truly sexy wedding day style. Fitted gowns can be designed in a variety of fabrics that add extra drama or a touch of romance. Brides are also thinking outside of the box when it comes to the color of their wedding gowns. With a couture gown, the color options are endless (not your standard, off-the-rack white or champagne options).
