This week marks the anniversary of what was dubbed

This week marks the anniversary of what was dubbed 'the wedding of the century” when Hollywood superstar Grace Kelly married Prince Rainier of Monaco between the 18th and 19th of April in 1956. The veil, made up of 90 yards of tulle, had been crafted to make sure the actress's face would not be obscured from the cameras.

Janice Martin was commissioned by the Philadelphia Museum of Art to restore her veil. You can read about this experience on our website.

Here are some pictures from the 2019 American Medical Women’s Association (AMWA) conference in Brooklyn.
